            Just a note to update you on my action. I made contact with the UK Met Office just over 2 weeks ago and the request has been passed on to someone who was closely involved with the possible adoption of the OASIS Common Alerting Protocol. Unfortunately he won’t be back in the office until next week.

I’ve had another very positive response from a leading emergency management expert in the Canadian Government, see attached, and the attached revised draft WD03 reflects his comments.   We still have some parts that need further work but I propose to send this version out to the OASIS Emergency Management TC and MS and also to all attendees at the Montreal workshop as part of the next stage consultation.  Hopefully between all of them they will be able to fill in the blanks before we go out for a full Public Review. 

 

I’ll add discussion on this to next week’s agenda but in the meantime if anyone has any comments please let me know.
