Subject: FW: [tgf] 60-day Public Review for Transformational Government Framework (TGF) Pattern Language Core Patterns Version 1.0 COS01

The Public Review period has now closed and I can confirm that no comments
have been received. Consequently I have asked TC Admin to run the
membership ballot to approve the Core Patterns as an OASIS Standard and this
should happen in the next couple of weeks.

Subject: [tgf] 60-day Public Review for Transformational Government
Framework (TGF) Pattern Language Core Patterns Version 1.0 COS01

Members of the OASIS Transformational Government Framework TC [1] have
recently approved a Special Majority Ballot [2] to advance Transformational
Government Framework (TGF) Pattern Language Core Patterns Version 1.0 as a
Candidate OASIS Standard (COS). The COS now enters a 60-day public review
period in preparation for a member ballot to consider its approval as an
OASIS Standard.

Transformational Government Framework (TGF) Pattern Language Core Patterns
Version 1.0 Candidate OASIS Standard 01
16 January 2013

Specification Overview:

The Transformational Government Framework (TGF) is a practical "how to"
standard for the design and implementation of an effective program of
technology-enabled change at national, state or local government level. It
describes a managed process of ICT-enabled change in the public sector,
which puts the needs of citizens and businesses at the heart of that process
and which achieves significant and transformational impacts on the
efficiency and effectiveness of government.

The TGF Pattern Language is a formalization of the Framework that is both
human-readable and machine-tractable. This document constitutes the initial
set of patterns that form the core of the TGF Pattern Language. This set may
be revised and/or extended from time to time as appropriate.

The TGF Pattern Language Core Patterns Version 1.0 received Statements of
Use from CS Transform, Peter Brown, the EPR-forum and it's tGov-concept, the
Government of South Australia and the British Council [3].

Public Review Period:

The 60-day public review starts 28 January 2013 and ends 29 March 2013.

This is an open invitation to comment. OASIS solicits feedback from
potential users, developers and others, whether OASIS members or not, for
the sake of improving the interoperability and quality of its technical
work.
