Take a look at a book entitled, "The Information Paradox" by John Thorp published by McGraw Hill in 2003.  ISBN 0-07-092698-0.  It has a methodology for identifying and managing the realization of benefits.

Benefits Realisation is one of the key pillars of the TGF.  We perhaps need to do a bit more about how to go about doing it and this reference would be useful for that when we get round to it.
