Subject: Re: [tm-pubsubj] Notice of membership expiration
Hi Suellen, > I've enjoyed working with you all and think >we have made some good progress. Please let me know, what, if >anything I can do to facilitate a smooth transition should we/you >decide to go ahead and wrap up the committee. It was nice working with you too. Maybe we will meet each other at a conference sometime. Yes, it seems that the W3C has taken the charter of published subjects for RDF to task, and Bernard has joined them. Good luck Bernard. Keep us informed. http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-tag/2003Jul/0022.html I too, am planning to resign, but before that I will help to facilitate a smooth transition. Here is information from the OASIS Board --- "(o). Closing a TC TC Administration may close any TC that fails to conduct at least one quorate meeting or conduct any electronic ballots during any six month period; whose voting membership falls below three members; has reached its completion date; or has failed to show progress towards achieving its purpose as defined by its charter. TC Administration must close a TC that has completed its deliverables. A TC can be closed by resolution of its members or by resolution of the Board." -- FYI Our last ballot was May 19 so that gives us until November 19 to either conduct a ballot where we get a response from a quorum or have a meeting with a quorum. the TC will natually disappear if we do nothing and continue with only these email interchanges. Not much really needs to be done actually. We need to 1. Create a ballot to elect a Chair (through a ballot) 2. Set up a meeting schedule (one conference call every two-three months should work 3. Get a listing of organizations who will sponsor the conference calls. First of all, let's accept volunteers for the Chair. Whoever steps forward, I will create a ballot for this. Scott will need to give me temporary access to create the ballot. -- Mary Current Members: M Priestl IBM Thomas Bandholz Individual Peter Flynn Individual Lars Marius Garshol Individual Mary Nishikawa Individual Steve Pepper Individual H.
