Subject: New versions of country and language PSIs

Happy new year, everybody!

To start the new year on an active note I've finally published the
updated versions of the language and country PSIs. The new versions
incorporate all the changes agreed at the previous GeoLang TC meeting
as well as all changes in the source standards, and can be seen at

  <URL: http://psi.oasis-open.org/iso/639/ >
  <URL: http://psi.oasis-open.org/iso/3166/ >

At the previous GeoLang TC meeting it was also decided that I should
investigate what these PSI sets might look like as OASIS
specifications, so I created two versions based on the HTML template
for OASIS specifications, which can be found at:

  <URL: http://psi.oasis-open.org/iso/639/oasis-spec.html >
  <URL: http://psi.oasis-open.org/iso/3166/oasis-spec.html >

Here's what I would like the committee to do:

 - to arrange a concall in the near future to discuss general TC
   business, and in particular the possible official, final
   publication of these PSI sets.

And here is what I'd like each TC member to do:

 - study the published HTML, XTM, and RDF files carefully to look for

   - typos,

   - mistakes, and

   - wording/layout that could be improved, and

 - post any comments you might have on this list.

Thanks!
