[xtm-wg] Syntax is a bitch :-(

I'm auto-creating topics from an XML source.

Because the id attribute of a topic is restricted
* Unique
* Cannot contain ={} [] " <> entities etc,
I'm finding it a real bitch.

An infoset element content is the source for the id,
hence I'm spending hours stripping out 'specials'
to facilitate using them as ID attribute values.

Be nice if these restrictions were not a implicit in XTM.
Purely pragmatic reasoning.
