Subject: RE: [xtm-wg] RE: Next face-to-face on Topic Maps model

Latest news 1: Kal is unable to attend at all next week. The week after, I
shall be in San Francisco, then Dallas (for our next XTM face-to-face).

Conclusion: It looks as if we will not get an ISS liaison representative at
our face-to-face, no matter how we play it.

Latest news 2: Graham is able to meet next week on Thursday or Friday.
Matthew is "very busy" next week.

Proposal: Graham and I meet as planned in Swindon this Friday (tomorrow),
and circulate the results of our work (words and UML drawings) to the whole
CMS via this list. Then Graham and I and Chris meet on Thursday 2 November
so Chris can give us specific input and help us review any comments we have
received, and add any specific input of his own. We then circulate what will
hopefully be a "pre-final" draft of the conceptual model for all to review,
before we present it formally at the Dallas meeting on Friday 10 November.

Chris: Can you meet with Graham and me on Thursday 2 November? Can you come
to Swindon, or should we come to London, or can we "meet half-way"?

Matthew: Will you be able to review and submit comments by email between 30
October and 2 November?

Best regards

Daniel

Importance: High

Ok Kal - Graham and I will meet on our own on Friday.

however, Next week we want to do a London-based meeting to bring Matthew and
Chris up to speed with where we are and get their input. This being a "get
up to speed" meeting, it would be great if you could attend. That would not
slow process down, and would help with communication between the CMS and
ISS. It is Steve Pepper who suggested you play the role of liaison from ISS
to CMS, since he can't make it over for this meeting. I hope you can manage
it.

I'm in the process of trying to identify which day will work for everyone.

Kal, Graham, Chris, Matthew, do you have constraints? For me any day but
Tuesday will work.

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

I'm not sure that my presence will help move things along faster as you
would need to bring me up to speed on what was accomplished at the Swindon
meeting and in Montreal - it has been quite a while since Paris and the CMS
group have covered a lot of ground - I would hate to force people to cover
it all over again just to bring me into the loop.

Cheers,

Kal
