I'm afraid I didn't see this until after the meeting in Berlin,
so it wasn't discussed there.

The status of psi1.xtm is that it still exists as published
on December 4th, but it was never formally adopted by
topicmaps.org. One of the reasons for using the name core.xtm
in XTM 1.0, rather than simply modifying psi1.xtm, was to
honour the commitment that psi1.xtm would be stable.

All these PSIs derive from one particular proposal for templating
associations, about which more information can be obtained from
http://www.topicmaps.net. However, this is not yet definitive, and
work is continuing on both the topic map data model and various
processing models. The focus for that work will be the ISO
committee responsible for topic maps (SC34/WG3), under the
supervision of the editors, Steve Newcomb, Michel Biezunski, and
Martin Bryan.

My personal feeling is that TopicMaps.Org should not take any
action on psi1.xtm until this work has reached its conclusion, and
I would advise against assuming that psi1.xtm necessarily reflects
what we will end up with.
