Not so. You must distinguish between the role (an association role
information item) and the role type (a topic information item). They
are not at all the same.

You're fighting a strawman, Piotr. There is no need to do it this way,
since you can model this very easily using a ternary association. So
whatever duplication this approach has doesn't mean anything, since
this is in any case the wrong way to do it.

If you have a point to make about reification of associations I
suggest you come up with a new example, since there is no reason to
reify this association.
