There is currently no standard for topic map schemas, unfortunately.
ISO is working on one (TMCL), but that's waiting for the data model
work, and so is still some way into the future. In the meantime
Ontopia has defined its own alternative[1], and from the above it
sounds like Empolis has started work on another alternative.

Ontopia's schema language (OSL) has no graphical representation.

No, they use something specific to Protege.
