Hi Paul, That is a very relevant question, and your suggestion is correct, but we also have some problem here:
So we have a potential conflict of the two above. I will prepare a TOSCA template example as an input for a further discussion on this (here on mail and in the WG). When parameter definition is used in a node type definition to map an interface operation output to a node attribute there is no parent type definition. However in this case a type definition in the parameter definition must match the type
definition if one exists the operation type definition.
