On Behalf Of Jane Harnad Dear TOSCA OASIS Members, OASIS was asked to put together a one-day track at the upcoming EEMA – Identity Management Conference, 12-13 June in Paris, France. We would like to include a session on Orchestration,
Compliance & Auditing, if possible. Below is a very rough draft description for your review. Please let me know if anyone from the technical committee might be interested in coming to Paris to speak. Thanks so much. Jane https://www.eema.org/Events/?eventId=68d5c1c5-dda8-475f-81c0-8277e6d0ffea Orchestration, Compliance & Auditing: How to pull the pieces together and trust it?
Part one of this panel discussion will review a new interoperability standard (TOSCA) that will make it easier to deploy cloud applications without vendor lock-in, while maintaining application requirements
for security, governance, and compliance. The second part of the panel discussion will address how ensure trust through auditing and compliance. SMI defines service attributes in seven major functional categories (accountability, agility, assurance, financial,
performance, security and privacy, and usability) that provide key performance indicators that can be collected and tailored by consumers to evaluate competing services based on business and technology requirements. The speaker for this portion will provide
an overview of the SMI and its relationship to cloud auditing, and discuss how cloud marketplaces can leverage the SMI to enable greater cloud choice through evidence-based decisions. Jane Harnad OASIS Manager of Events Follow us on: |
