Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (TOSCA-25) TOSCA-20 Issue 9: Naming and capitalization is odd

    [ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/TOSCA-25?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=30673#action_30673 ]

Tobias Kunze commented on TOSCA-25:
------------------------------------

During the call on 6/21, Paul asked that I reference a W3C standard. I don't seem to be able to find any explicit standards document, but note that XHTML, CSS, etc. all use this convention.

Also, see this question on Stackoverflow: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1074447/case-conventions-on-element-names

> Naming and capitalization is odd, e.g. "NodeTypeProperties" vs "requestURI" vs "name".
> This becomes apparent e.g. in YAML where there is no difference between Elements and Attributes as in XML.
