Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (TOSCA-17) Packaging Format for TOSCA
[ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/TOSCA-17?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=30708#action_30708 ] Paul Lipton commented on TOSCA-17: ----------------------------------- After repeated discussions, it does not seem that there is adequate consensus here. Therefore, I would ask both parties to provide a final, short, verbal summary of their approach, its merits, and also perhaps why the approach would likely NOT "break" non-XML implementations (just a suggestion). I would ask that you limit your summary to 5 minutes with zero (fine) or 1-2 summary slides at most. Since this has been discussed at length there will be limited time for Q&A. I will then call the vote to enable the TC to choose one path and stick with it. I will presume that if a proposal is not withdrawn that you agree to providing an updated spec for the editors to integrate in a timely manner to support your proposal. I will contact both parties to ensure availability on the same day. > Packaging Format for TOSCA > -------------------------- > > Key: TOSCA-17 > URL: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/TOSCA-17 > Project: OASIS Topology and Orchestration Specification for Cloud Applications (TOSCA) TC > Issue Type: New Feature > Components: Spec > Affects Versions: CSD03 > Reporter: Frank Leymann > > Specifying a cloud application requires a number of different artifacts. In order to allow self-contained definitions of cloud applications a packaging format is needed that contains all the artifacts making up a manageable cloud application. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira
