Subject: Leave of Absense
Dear members of the TOSCA TC,
I will be on vacation for the next two weeks. For the second week of my
vacation (September 1st thru 10th) I have requested a leave of absence with
our co-chairs following the official process as outlined by Paul in the
thread below.

Yes, if I only request LOA for my second week of vacation that would help.
I am pretty sure I will attend the TC meeting right after my vacation.
So I would hereby kindly request an LOA from September 1st thru September
10th.

Unfortunately, I can't make an exception, but what we could do is for you
to take a LOA for just the one week. Since you would not have missed 2
weeks in a row you would be able to maintain your voting record as long as
you show up the 1st week you're back.

Hi all,
Based on further research, a clarification regarding Leaves of Absence, if
I may. All The TC Voting Members are entitled to at least one Leave of
Absence within a 12 month period. This can be requested by sending an email
to the co-chairs and the TC list at least 7 days in advance of the period
requested (please specify exact dates, not to exceed 45 days). During your
leave of absence, you cannot vote.
A maximum of one additional Leave of Absence is possible, but can only be
granted upon formal Resolution of the TC, a potentially time consuming
operation, if we get too many of them. Please consult the TC process for
all the fine points, should you be interested.
