Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (TOSCA-38) Need Service Template composition mechansim

    [ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/TOSCA-38?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=31052#action_31052 ]

Paul Lipton commented on TOSCA-38:
-----------------------------------

Closed by TC motion on 8/30. However, I have been informed by one of the editors that:

"...to be able to fully swap in a complete ServiceTemplate in place of a NodeTemplate in another ServiceTemplate, we also need to define Operations/Interfaces in the <BoundaryDefinitions> of a ServiceTemplate. However, with the current spec, we cannot cleanly do this."

Therefore, I will keep the issue open for one week until the TC can consider keeping this issue open.

The TC was informed of this problem in: https://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/tosca/email/archives/201208/msg00082.html
