The current mechanism for binding input values into template properties is pull based requiring hardcoding of the get input expressions into node templates. This creates problems when reusing templates especially when they are implicitly included from different documents. A pull based approach which does not require such hardcoding is more desirable for template reuse and hence a pull based syntax should be supported too.
