Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] (TOSCA-187) Using TOSCA template to describe the NFV forwarding graph
[ https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/TOSCA-187?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=47844#comment-47844 ] Paul Lipton commented on TOSCA-187: ------------------------------------ Introduced to TC on 9 October. Will be moved to Network Ad Hoc for further consideration. Excerpted comments from chat below: [13:31] Chip Holden (Scribe - Zenoss): Derek: Initial impression -- this is somewhat orthogonal to what we've defined. I would suggest that we take this to the Networking Ad hoc. [13:32] Matt Rutkowski (IBM): nfv semantics should be below the app model and would not be normative, but perhaps published as domain-specific semantics [13:33] Chip Holden (Scribe - Zenoss): If you would like to be involved in this topic, email Avi to get the logistics for the Networking Ad hoc meeting. > Using TOSCA template to describe the NFV forwarding graph > --------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: TOSCA-187 > URL: https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/TOSCA-187 > Project: OASIS Topology and Orchestration Specification for Cloud Applications (TOSCA) TC > Issue Type: New Feature > Reporter: Shitao Li > Assignee: Shitao Li > > NFV (network function virtualization) will study the gap between NS description in NFV and tosca template. > VNFFG(VNF forwarding graph) is one of the gap that may need TOSCA to add some more features to fit the requirements. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.2.2#6258)
