Subject: Re: [tosca] Request For Information - TOSCA Implementations and Academic Papers
Hello Jeremy, all!!
I couldn’t speak out loud during the meeting since I was on the train but I commit to help however I can!!
First, TOSCA implementations. As far as I know, the ones on the wiki are currently the major ones, certainly I would add OpenTOSCA from Frank Leymann and his group (see here:
http://www.opentosca.org/) this is a basic Runtime for TOSCA-Based Cloud Applications. Also, I can mention CELAR, which is similar but provides an Eclipse-based (partial) implementation (see here:
http://linc.ucy.ac.cy/CELAR/icwe2014/)
Second, academic papers. I would definitely link these below:
“Portable Cloud Services Using TOSCA” https://www.computer.org/csdl/mags/ic/2012/03/mic2012030080.pdf
“Finding available services in TOSCA-compliant clouds” http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0167642315002634
“Towards a model-driven design tool for big data architectures” http://dl.acm.org/citation.cfm?id=2896835
"Model-driven continuous deployment for quality DevOps” http://dl.acm.org/citation.cfm?id=2945417
there’s going to be more coming, even from our own TOSCA playground, I’ll let you know as more come through, stay tuned!
cheers,
Damian
