Good catch! This is the result of having duplication of information between the âKeynamesâ sections and the âGrammarâ sections in the spec. I believe Tal has suggested in the past that we should pick one or the other and consolidate (I
donât remember which one Tal wanted to keep).
As it relates to artifact definition, I believe the correct syntax is what is described in the âkeynamesâ section, which is âartifact_versionâ.

I was just looking at the artifact definition in TOSCA Simple Profile in YAML Version 1.3 and noticed this inconsistency:
3.6.7.1 Keynames
says the key name is"artifact_version" but
3.6.7.2.2 Extended notation:
says:
version: <artifact _version>
Which is it, "version" or "arifact_version"?
