Agenda:
1/ Roll Call

2/ Minutes of last meeting http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/trans-ws/event.php?event_id=2701&;

3/ Security
See the following document which Gerard advised us of previously.
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dnwssecur/html/securitywhitepaper.asp
The objective of this item is to understand how security works within web services and how we will use it within web services for translation.
The agenda for this discussion is:
a/ Introduction to WS-Security - Gerard
b/ Examining the security needs for web services for translation. I would like this discussion to enable us to get a clear but basic picture of our needs.
c/ Look at the WS-Security scenarios and see how they match what we want and what has to be done to achieve this.
In our last meeting there was some discussion on WSS and WS-Security. My understanding is that WS-Security is a proprietary technology developed by IBM and Microsoft and this was the basis for WSS which is an Oasis TC. I would appreciate further clarification if anyone has more information.
