3/ Review of specification
I am still working on this following the last meeting and will send it out Thursday
4/ AOB

Please note: I will be changing the agenda to include the issues raised at our last meeting but vecause of a few days vacation and other issues I have not done this properly yet.

Minutes:
1/ Attendence: There were 6 members present as recorded in Kavi.
Apologies: Reinhard, Arle

2/ Minutes of the last meeting were agreed with one correction. We agreed in the last meeting to include a new API call: GetResourceList.
Proposed - Magnus, Seconded - Andrzej

3/ Review of specification
Peter apologised for not having the changes to the draft which he was due to have for this meeting. This will be ready by next Thursday, June 17th.

Resource files
We discussed the issue of using resources such as TMs prior to the job starting. It was agreed that if the job ticket could be first added to the associateResource call it would be possible to submit a TM before the job was started. It was agreed to include a note saying this can be done in the specification.

It was confirmed that resources can be retrieved by the URI. This will be described in the documentation.

Counts
There was a debate about whether we should use the XLIFF count-group element or the quantity element. It was agreed that Andrzej would send a proposal to the TC on using the XLIFF solution.

Dealing with multiple languages
The issue of having to send the source files for every language pair was raised. It was suggested one of dealing with this is the source files could be sent using the associateResource call. The source file would be sent using this call and then the job would be submitted and use the URI of the resource file to identify the source file.

In order to this we need to add a category attribute to the associateResource call. The list for possible values for this call are ‘source-files’,’tm’, ’glossary’, ’style-sheet’, ’instruction’, ‘previous-translation’, ‘miscellaneous’. There would also be the possibility for those implementing the web service to add other categories.

4/ Testing
Gerard mentioned that he has talked to a number of people in Microsoft who are interested in testing the web services and he will report back on this at a future meeting.

5/ AOB
Gerard and Andrzej are speaking at the LISA conference in San Francisco.
Reinhard is organising the LRC conference in Limerick this September and the topic is Open Source.
Peter has an article for the next issue of LISA’s Globalization Insider magazine which he forwarded to the team.
Peter is doing a workshop at the Localization World conference.
