Agreed as a correct record

3/ Draft specification
Andrzej was completing modifications to the specification. This is now a valid XHTML document. He has also applied the new OASIS style sheet.

Work to do
Introduction and legal part. These should be borrowed from the AIR sections. Andrzej will do this during the month of August.

Appendix which includes normative and non-normative references. Normative are binding to specification. Non-normative are informative. Andrzej has also volunteered to do this.

4/ Artefact Identification Requirements (AIR)
There was a proposal that we review current Artefact Identification Requirements. see http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/trans-ws/email/archives/200507/msg00007.html
We agreed to have a ballot on XHTML be included as a valid format for specifications. Peter will create a ballot for this.

5/ Implementation of specification
We are working the LRC on this. Here are my notes from the meeting held on July 26th to look at a reference implementation of the Trans-WS specification by the LRC.

Present: Karl, Kevin, Michael, Reinhard, Magnus, Tony, Peter.

The meeting started with a general discussion of what the Trans-WS TC was doing and the purpose of the reference implementation.

The following action plan was agreed:
The LRC team will take a look at Web services and see how they are implemented.
The LRC team will then go into more detail with the Trans-WS specification and start work on implementing this.
The implementation will be done using J2EE.
Towards the end of August the LRC team will visit BGS to view the work they have done on the Web service interface for Elcano.
An initial report on the reference implementation will be ready for the LRC conference. There will be a meeting relating to this built into the conference programme.
Patrick Gannon will be informed of this work ahead of his presentation to the LRC conference.
It was agreed that we should ask the LRC people to join our TC and they can report progress on this. We will ask the LRC team to post issues to the TC list.

6/ AOB LRC conference is at the beginning of September.

7/ Next week September 1st . We will meet on a monthly basis on the first Thursday of every month.
