Subject: Closing the Technical Committee

Hello everyone, I only received one response in favor of continuing
the work. While I think everyone agrees that this is valuable work and should
proceed, it appears that the resources just aren’t available at the
current point in time. That happens sometimes; while disappointing there will
always be future opportunities. We’ll soon be starting another technical
committee focused on translation (OAXAL) and I hope that you will all join. And
if in the future there a group willing to take this work forward, a new
technical committee can always be formed. Thank you for all your work on this specification over the
