Subject: Candidate requirement - schema fragment synthesis
One of the work products out of the Montréal Methodology was an XSLT script that synthesized conformant (to the methodology) UBL code list fragments from a list of enumerations. Is it a requirement of CLSC to produce such a tool so that someone with an enumeration of values can run the tool to create a UBL-compatible code list fragment? I believe this should be TTSC's responsibility, but we need to address this as a group and decide. Perhaps if we had an XML instance expression of the code list data model we divine then we could write an XSLT stylesheet that read the data model instance and a list of enumerations in order to produce a schema module for use with UBL. .....................
