Reading UBL-2.3.pdf from the same ZIP file, in section 2.3.7.1.1 I am confused.

 

It says:-

For UBL we assume the following billing methods:

1. Traditional Billing

a. Credit Note

b. Debit Note

2. Self Billing (also know as billing on receipt)

a. Using Credit Note

b. Using Self Billed Credit Note

Missing from this list seem to be Invoice and SelfBilledInvoice. All the diagrams start with one of them.

 

Maybe the second paragraph should start:-

 

For UBL after the initial Invoice or SelfBilledInvoice the transaction may be completed using:

...

 

But then the lists would need to include ApplicationResponse.
