No and yes:  the test address received notification of being joined to the 
group, but when it attempted to send a message to the group, it was told 
"you are not authorized to post to the list".  Today I created a document 
in a folder with notification for all members and the test address *did* 
receive notification of the addition of the document.  So unauthorized 
subscribers to the mail list can get some benefit by "push" announcements 
by KAVI.

I saw those, but one of the issues I will bring up at the chairs meeting is 
that having FTP access to a set of subdirectories can be useful for 
"prototyping" a delivery, where the files are uploaded into hyperlinked 
directories and members can walk through those files on the OASIS site to 
test them out.  The workaround that I'm going with for now is to just post 
a ZIP of the files and have the members download the ZIP to their own 
subdirectories to peruse them locally.  I suppose this is sufficient ... 
though it isn't really an online test the relative links do get tested.
