I would like to get your final feedback on these requirements: would a system built on this set of requirements and functionality provide your TC with what it needs to manage your documents? Notice the phased approach: the first phase allows for collaborative document creation/editing by TC members. At whatever point this first phase ends the document is turned over to the TC editor or chair to own and maintain, and it is at this point that the document gets a formal filename and is tracked and versioned through the system. Is this a reasonable approach? Please respond to me over the next few days, regarding both of the above issues, so that Jeff and I can start system design. -Karl ================================================================= Karl F.
