i am not sure we can get a call even if we wanted to (i am now in Japan 
- are you?)

i can report that the 1.0 Beta package is just about done (really, 
truly, it is).  we hope to sign it off from LC on the tuesday call and 
pass to Jon to arrange a vote.

we plan to use Kavi's voting system and close the vote next Monday 24th 
Nov.  We intend to make sure we get more than 2/3 votes by lobbying 
those no-shows.

after that we can make the announcement and get under way (even though 
some users are already looking at the drafts- which is not too bad as 
the normative material has not changed).

to my knowledge we have all the NDR and CM and Tools material in there - 
although I am going to ask for a refercne to the CM to be added in the 
main narrative.
