But I still see that as a separate delivery step beyond the InfoPath
frontend - and then you can package the Signature block into
the transmission.

Just because you are using ftp of POST delivery - does not
mean you cannot use the ebXML Enveloping structure!!!

So - take the InfoPath UBL output, add the digital signature,
package as a ebXML message - ftp or POST to partner.

Voila!
