Subject: Re: [ubl-dev] Syntax neutral definition of inherited BIEs
Duane, "Syntax independent" is good! Couple of extra points of note - CEFACT/TMG/CCMA team is working in this area right now - next meeting - Brussels, Sept. The OASIS CAM team have also developed mechanisms based on XML representations of BIE, CCTS, etc (is that syntax independent?!) that could be output from a spreadsheet or similar, that the CAM engine can then build XSD or other structure formats from. You can download the XSD for that syntax layout from http://oasis-open.org/committees/cam and the latest CAM engine is available from http://www.jcam.org.uk For a simple example just using some US gov NIH transaction dictionary items see: http://drrw.net/backup/NIH/nounexample-eCGAP.xml DW ----- Original Message ----- From: "Duane Nickull" <dnickull@adobe.com> To: "Juha Ikävalko" <juha.ikavalko@tieke.fi> Cc: <ubl-dev@lists.oasis-open.org> Sent: Thursday, August 11, 2005 12:41 PM Subject: Re: [ubl-dev] Syntax neutral definition of inherited BIEs > Juha: > > I prefer to use the term "syntax independent" for this functionality as > I think it is more accurate.
