Subject: RE: RE: [ubl-dev] RE: [ebxml-dev] RE: [ubl-dev] UBL 2.0 public review
Hello Áron, I was not able to duplicate this error with XML Spy 2005 or 2006 Enterprise or Professional Editions. I do not have XML Spy Home Edition. Unless there are other XML Spy Home Edition users who can give you some advice, my suggestion is to report this problem to Altova. Kind regards, Sylvia Webb -----Original Message----- From: Szabó Áron [mailto:aron@ik.bme.hu] Sent: Friday, February 03, 2006 6:28 AM To: swebb@gefeg.com Cc: ubl-dev@lists.oasis-open.org; jon.bosak@sun.com Subject: [Norton AntiSpam] RE: [ubl-dev] RE: [ebxml-dev] RE: [ubl-dev] UBL 2.0 public review Dear Sylvia, if I open just the UnqualifiedDataTypeSchemaModule-2.xsd file, I got the following information in XMLSpy (Home Edition version 2006): "This schema doesn't appear to be valid by itself (as a part of another schema, it might still be OK): Cannot resolve W3C schema declaration or definition 'BuiltinType'." So, the problem is still with "BuiltinType". Any idea? Best regards, Aron Szabo --- Dear Áron, What version of XML Spy are you using? Do you get the same error when you open and try to validate UnqualifiedDataTypeSchemaModule-2.xsd without any other schema files? Regards, Sylvia Webb --- Dear Members, I've just tried out UBLv2.0 package by constructing an "Order" message. I've tried to check it with XMLSpy: well-formedness was OK, but schema validation has failed. I've assigned the schema of Order message to my XML file but at schema validation errors have been dropped up in "UnqualifiedDataTypeSchemaModule-2.xsd" at "xsd:BuiltinType" elements which are in "http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" namespace ("Cannot resolve W3C schema declaration or definition 'BuiltinType'."). I've just read through the XML schema and DTD file belonging to this W3C namespace and noticed that there is no "BuiltinType" in the document (perhaps in a referenced document can be found?). After this I removed the "xsd:BuiltinType" elements from "UnqualifiedDataTypeSchemaModule-2.xsd" and XMLSpy returned "This file is schema valid.". So, could you check this whether I have done something wrong or the schema has a small mistake somewhere (maybe wrong reference to other schema?)?
