Subject: Fwd: Public Review of UBL v1.0 Small Business SubsetSpecification

Greetings,

Just to advise that a 15 day public review has started for
UBL 1.0 Small Business Subset v1.0. This is the second
public review. Comments are invited as below.

Note that this is the SBS for UBL 1.0 - not to be confused
with a longer public review in progress for UBL 2.0. (A UBL
2.0 SBS is in being drafted but has not yet reached a
review stage).

The ebBP 2.0, currently undergoing public review of 15
days, has added much to the SBS. The SBS includes ebBP
and ebCPPA artefacts to aid with adoption of UBL and the
UBL SBS within an ebXML framework. This involved close
cooperation between UBL and ebBP Technical Committees.

Many thanks to all who have contributed and to all who
give time to reviewing the UBL 1.0 SBS package.

All the best

Stephen Green
Co-Chair UBL Small Business Subcommittee

Subject: [members] Public Review of UBL v1.0 Small Business Subset
Specification
To: members@lists.oasis-open.org, tc-announce@lists.oasis-open.org

To: OASIS members, public announce lists

The OASIS Universal Business Language (UBL) TC has approved the following
specification document set as a Committee Draft and
approved the package for a 15-day public review:

UBL 1.0 Small Business Subset v1.0

The public review starts today, 3 February 2006, and ends 18 February 2006.
This specification was previously submitted for a 60-day
public review on 25 August, 2005[1]; the 15-day review is limited in scope
to changes made from the previous review. A separate
change log is provided. This is an open invitation to comment.

Public review from potential users, developers and stakeholders is an
important part of the OASIS process to assure
interoperability and quality. Comments are solicited from all interested
parties. Please feel free to distribute this announcement
within your organization and to other appropriate mail lists.

More non-normative information about the specification and the technical
committee may be found at the public home page of the
TC at http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/ubl. Comments may be submitted to
the TC by any person, by a web-form that can be reached
either on that page, via the button marked "Send A Comment" at the top of
that page, or directly at
http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/comments/form.php?wg_abbrev=ubl

Submitted comments (for this work as well as other works of that TC) are
publicly archived and can be viewed at
http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/ubl-comment/. All comments submitted to
OASIS are subject to the OASIS Feedback License, to
assure that the comment may be freely re-used by the TC; the license terms
can be found on the comment web-form.

The specification document and related files are available here:

A pdf file is included in the zip archive, however, since this committee
draft is created in XHTML, the TC asks that you refer to
the HTML version for review purposes.

OASIS and the UBL Technical Committee welcome your comments.
