Although this may be a weak argument (and at a crucial time) I think
for those implementers sufficiently familiar with EDI, there might
be value in invoking the precedent of the Implementation Guides. There
seems to me to have been a strong and interesting parallel, though I'm
not an EDI programmer. It is just a parallel though since here we are
dealing with post-XML issues.
