I have been looking for the field to use for communicating the product code conform the GS1 GTIN classification system.
When looking into ITEM what possibly could be a good match would be:
- Item. Standard_ Item Identification. Item Identification
whereas I will have to identify the issuer party
The
issuer party definition says "An association to Issuer Party i.e. the
Party that issued the Item Identification." and here I do not find a
match because it is not GS1 who issued the party identification but the
supplier who uses the GS1 assigned range.
OR I could use with of course the same doubts about the issuer party
- Item. Additional_ Item Identification. Item Identification
Am I overlooking something ? Has anyone used EAN / GS1 GLN's in an UBL
