On 24/5 ESLSC agrees with the work plan schedule for Asian Localization SCs, so here there is the agenda of the work currently developed by the ESLSC.

 

1.- Translation of the UBL 1.0 CD

 

            1.1 The index.html file is translated and under revision

            1.2 The common spreadsheets are translated and need to be revised

            1.3 We plan to have the maindoc spreadsheets translated and revised by mid July.

            1.4 We plan to translate the Customization Guidelines, de Code List Representation and the Format Specification docs by November.

 

2.- Promotion of UBL

 

            2.1 Spanish market strategy defined. We are currently leading the most important ERPs in Spain to implement UBL as the standard XML input/output format.

            2.2 First seminar with UBL example implementations took place in Barcelona last June 2. The organization was leaded by Fomento del Trabajo Nacional that’s one of the biggest enterprise associations.  

 

3.- Provide tools that facilitate the adoption of UBL in the most popular ERPs

 

            3.1 Developed components that facilitate the integration in the ERP that the UBL facilities.

            3.2 Developping document workflow tools (From Order to Invoice,..)

            3.3 Developping format transformation tools (EDIFACT/IDOC to UBL).
