Teleconference and calendar planning

Fellow UBL-FPSC members and adherents,

I propose we set up a weekly one-hour teleconference for Thursday mornings, 
08:00PDT = 11:00EDT = 15:00GMT == 17:00CET.  Sun has generously donated the 
teleconference facilities.

I've chosen this day of the week as it does not interfere with other UBL 
subcommittees and there is a lot of sharing of subcommittee members between 
subcommittees.

I do not plan to use the teleconferences for detailed technical 
discussions; these should be happening in the mail list.  I do plan to use 
these teleconferences each week primarily for status monitoring, but also 
for germane philosophical discussions regarding our activities and 
high-level brainstorming.

Please send "nays" to the list with a proposal for an alternative.  Please 
send "yeas" to me off-list.

Please response ASAP though it may be too soon to set up this Thursday, at 
least we will be set up for subsequent Thursdays.
