Subject: RE: [ubl-lcsc] RE: consistency of BIE XSD files

Gunther:

A minor note: I've been playing with the XSD files you sent out, and I've
noticed that in some you use "xsd:" as the prefix for the XML namespace, and
in others, you use "xs:" (which is the one that the official XSD DTD has in
it when you download it). Could you make these all "xs:" so that the same
DTD can be used with all files?

Cheers,

Arofan

Hello Tim,

that's right, the element-description moved up to one position. I will
correct that and I will send you the new version today.

To XML-Spy:

You can use the menu "XML" only, if you are in the "Enhanced Grid View". You
can go into this view by clicking View->Enhanced Grid View. This view shows
the hierarchical structure of any XML-compliant document through a set of
nested containers, that you can be expanded and collapsed to get a clear
picture of the document's structure. This structure can be a XML
document-instance or a XML schema document.

Regards,

	Gunther

i mentioned that the applications you use to generate the XSD files may
be mis-aligning some attributes/documentation elements. have a look at
this example from the UblBie.xsd file...

> <complexType name="CountryDetails" id="UBL000167">
> <annotation>
> <documentation source="UBL CC Definition"
> xml:lang="en">Unique identifier assigned to the Order by the
> buyer.</documentation>
> <documentation source="UBL Simple Type" xml:lang="en"/>
> <documentation source="UBL Complex Type"
> xml:lang="en">Country. Details</documentation>
> <documentation source="UBL Simple Type Object Class"
> xml:lang="en">Country</documentation>
> <documentation source="UBL Cardinality"
> xml:lang="en">Country</documentation>
> <documentation source="UBL Contained in UBL BIEs"
> xml:lang="en">0..1</documentation>
> <documentation source="UBL Contains xCBL
> Elements/Attributes" xml:lang="en">Product, PersonAddress,
> OrganizationAddress, NameAddress,
> LegalReportingInformation</documentation>
> <documentation source="UBL Core Component UID"
> xml:lang="en">CountryCode</documentation>
> </annotation>
> </complexType>

it looks to me like they all should be moved up one position.

also, can you explain to me why XML spy doesn't let me just click
XML->Insert->Element (the Element option and all others are greyed out)?
