Subject: [ubl-lcsc] Normalized Components 9
After today's meeting I have gone back and looked
at the normalized components worksheet. I am unsure about where to go from
here, I have a lot of issues with this document. Here are a few that I
think we can tackle now:
First issue (which should be easy to fix) is remove
the document assemblies that are included in the sheet, make this sheet only
reused elements (objects, if you wish).
Second, forget using this spreadsheet and right
away we need to put these into the final spreadsheet, this is a waste of our
time to have to look at it here, then look again at it in another
spreadsheet. Tim seems to feel it is easy to cut and paste this all over
to a new spreadsheet, but I feel everytime we manipulate the data, it leaves
room for error (typos, omissions) and problems. This needs to be done and
proofread to make sure it is done correctly.
Third, we need to proofread the entire sheet again,
I know we did this with V0p65, but because things have been retyped, again it
leaves room for normal typo type errors ( I have already seem several) and
needs to be done (do I have any volunteers?).
Okay, I am going to start moving the data into the
version of the spreadsheet that will be the final, but we still need
proofreaders.
One last note, the numbering system. Anybody
got a good ideas? We need to have UID's for presentation to the CEFACT
harmonization group, this is in the CCTS, it will also help us. But we
have found without stability they are almost useless. Should we use hard
and fast numbering that does not change even when making changes to the
sheets? Or let it continue to change until we release V1p0??
