Title: RE: [ubl-lcsc] Actual version of the common core component paper

Agreed and I raised this subject at the LCSC call last Friday to ensure that we register our CCC requests with our UBL CCTS verification response.

I completely agree with garrett, and I believe we already agreed to his proposed approach of identifying but not implementing until CEFACT enacts the proposed changes.

Subject: Re: [ubl-lcsc] Actual version of the common core component paper

Gunther,

Attached is a spreadsheet with my first set of comments on Draft 11.  I've decided to send comments incrementally rather than all at once since the time I spend on this tends to be a little inconsistent.  Many of these comments are minor, editorial issues but there is one fairly significant issue that requires a common understanding by all stakeholders.

Compliance with CCTS v1.90.  We have already identified and discussed a few areas where the CCC document includes CCTs and supplemental components that are not contained in CCTS v1.90.  In most of these cases, OAGI (and I believe NDR) agree that enhancement requests to include the UBL recommendations should be sent back to CCTS for consideration.  However, until these recommendations are incorporated into an official version of CCTS, they will not be implemented by OAGI and should not (in my opinion) be implemented in UBL 0pt80 or 1pt00.  If OAGI and UBL agrees with this strategy, it becomes extremely important that the CCC document clearly separate parts that will be implemented vs. parts that will be enhancement requests to CCTS.

If you or anyone else on this distribution have a different understanding of the implementation strategy, please speak up now.  CCTs and Data Types form the foundation of any XML vocabulary based on ebXML Core Components so it is imperative that we get this right.

Regards,

garret

Hello all,

I uploaded the actual version of the common core component paper on our UBL webside. You'll find the paper here: http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/ubl/ubl-ndrsc/download.php/2316/draft-stuhec-ccc-11.doc

Dear LCSC-colleagues could you review this paper and could you use the common core components for the reusable types, please. If you'll find any mistakes or if you have some further comments, send it to me please.

It is possible to hand in the recommended CCTs RateType and URLType as well as the enhancements of IdentifierType and CodeType to the CC Working Group as a part of the implementation verification process?

Kind regards,

        Gunther
