Subject: Re: [ubl-lcsc] [Analysis & QA Team] 0.81 draft 9 models tocheck in and comment
Tim I especially like what you've done with the line references. I haven't checked everything in detail yet - for more thorough checking I prefer to wait and use the schemas (while making the instances). From what I've seen though it looks very good and I'm happy now with schemas being produced. :-) I'd note that we now only have a GUID at document level whereas we used to have another at line level too. The requirement at document level is clearer than the line level requirement since GUID and Line Reference may seem sufficient, yet a GUID at line level may have some extra value. Perhaps having both seems a little excessive though. All the best Steve >>> Tim McGrath <tmcgrath@portcomm.com.au> 09/04/03 09:05 AM >>> Attached are the latest spreadsheet models which we hope will emerge as UBL 1.0. Bill, can you check these in. Stephen, you may wish to check the changelog and ensure I did the right thing (specifically with the rationalising of references) QA Team, you may wish to make sure these are compliant with the naming rules (we had to change the naming formula). I am also taking the opportunity to distribute the current class diagrams of these models. these help to navigate the library (i think). I am attempting to bring these sub-diagrams together into a readable 'big picture' but it is proving harder than it appears. I did not want this to hold up the next review steps. If we can get agreement on these models on Tuesday's call then we just need to fix the codelist chnages and we are ready for the schema generator. -- regards tim mcgrath phone: +618 93352228 postal: po box 189 fremantle western australia 6160
