Title: RE: [ubl-lsc] Scheduling the end of the review cycle

Jon

This would be perfect planning from the UN/CEFACT TBG point of view. With their next workgroup meetings scheduled for early MArch at the next Forum meeting this proposed schedule gives each of the domain workgroups the opportunity to review this at their F2F meetings in March and in addition gives an extra month to collate further comments following those meetings if required.

thanks

Subject: [ubl-lsc] Scheduling the end of the review cycle

LSC and CSC,

We've spent a lot of time talking about the beginning of this next
review cycle, but not much time thinking about the end date.  We
need to establish this now before we make a public announcement.

The goal, of course, is to have all the input organized and ready
for processing by the beginning of the UBL TC meeting in London on
28 April.  Anne Hendry has committed to creating and regularly
maintaining an issues log as the inputs come in, but knowing how
these things go, we can expect most of the feedback to come in
right at the end.  Working backward from 28 April and figuring in
some time to distribute a finished issues list to the members far
enough in advance for them to have it in hand before setting off
for London, Anne and I reckon that the list needs to be out to the
TC members on Monday 21 April, and that therefore the deadline
needs to be no later than Monday 14 April.  This would make for a
review period of exactly 12 weeks (20 January to 14 April).

Does this make sense to everyone?

Jon
