Subject: RE: [ubl-ndrsc] Todays NDR Changes
In
section 5.1, the term Namespace schema module is defined, and it
looks like we want to use that new term to replace RootSchema (which is not
defined). The section goes on to use the latter term
(RootSchema) a lot unfortunately. If we really want to replace the
term, then please eliminate it everywhere. The diagram on page 21 also
still uses the term "RootSchema".
I have
no feelings about which term is best. If we look at the diagram, there are
(were) two kinds of "SchemaModule" -- Internal Modules and Root Schemas.
Maybe we should adopt the term "External Module" -- to connote its external
visibility and to contrast it with internal schema modules which are not visible
to the outside world.
I'll
be happy to change the diagram to whatever the group decides. I suggest
these terms:
Schema
Module
Internal Schema Module
External Schema Module
(so
under my proposal, both RootSchema and Namespace Schema Module would go
away)
