Sorry this didn't get in the minutes/notes but it was disscussed on a call. 
The Regex that was published was:

         [a-zA-Z]+[a-zA-Z0-9]*

the problem is the first '+' it should not be there as all you want to 
specify is the first character like this:

         [a-zA-Z][a-zA-Z0-9]*
