Yes, wherever we use Item (or rather re-use it), it has the option to contain a Base Prices, Allowances and Charges and Taxes.

We cannot restrict re-use to certain ASBIE or BBIEs within an ABIE (at least in the schemas).

This means that a document type such as Despatch Advice may only want to use Item to describe the item properties, but we cannot hide the pricing and taxing associations.

PS. This is another reason to avoid too many mandatory BBIEs!

can you be more specific, which prices and texes do you mean?  there are none at the document root level.
