Subject: Report from 30th March Atlantic TC Call

Things started moving forward on the Atlantic call for the
Small Business Subset:

The schedule for progress to committee draft is becoming clear
- to keep in step with the schedule for the TC we may have
to wait six weeks before asking for a vote to Committee Draft status
while UBL 1.1 takes up a lot of TC time. This gives a good
opportunity to proceed with a public (perhaps semi-public) review
between, say, mid April and mid May. Jon is happy to kick this off
with say ebxml-dev and other lists. He has asked that the TC first
take a look at the package - over the next week or so - before being
asked to approve the review. My response was that we have something
which can be looked at though it will change a little before the
review - but it seems OK to let the TC see it now. I was asked,
therefore, to send a link to the TC as soon as possible.

How does the SBSC feel about this? If there's no objection by 12.00 UTC
tomorrow I'll send the link to the TC.

Hopefully, after the review, there'll be the opportunity to get
enough TC attention to get a vote on the first SBS becoming an
OASIS committee draft.

Another report from the meeting yesterday was that I offered to help
with the liaison with Altova leading to providing the artifacts they
need from UBL. This was linked in the call to the SBSC (it having been
agreed already at the F2F that the SBS could be recommended to Altova).
If anyone else would like to be involved in this please let me know.

By the way, it's nice to see our membership has increased to four.
I'd echo Ken's welcome to James and I'm glad to see we have Micah
as a member too, increasing our overlap with HISC.

All the best

Steve
