Subject: [ubl] Examples for UBL 1.0 Small Business Subset
Bryan (cc UBL list, SBSC list) Here are some samples I've just quickly created. If you have any others (particularly with less of a UK flavour) then the more the better. It would be useful to have any (modified for data protection) real life examples, especially if they are the type which would be of interest to a small business. Any examples from regions with different tax structure would be a great help. I wonder if it might be best to keep the detailed examination of different regional tax requirements as they impact the subset to the UBL version 2.0 subset - after any Tax XML related implementation guidance analysis. I'd also be particularly interested in any finance application requirements or examples of existing XML order and invoice files. Anything related to the US/Canada/Australia and anything from Asia (if in english) and anything from 'latinic' countries (as distinct from 'saxonic'). If Intuit products output XML orders and invoices, from low-end especially (Quickbooks, say) it would be of interest - just test the gap with the SBS - to have a sample of such documents. A gap analysis between the SBS invoice and the Danish tight schema would be especially helpful. It probably wouldn't be a lot of work since the SBS invoice is quite small (especially if one ignores the attributes and concentrates on the elements). By the way, the attached samples extend the subset a little to cover the tax registration id (in this case for a UK VAT registration number). Here a change would be desirable in the SBS (adding just two elements) but first it would be good to see how broad a set of regions the scope of such a change could cover.
