Subject: Fwd: Codelist support for UBL SBS and UBL SBS XPath questions (Sacha)
Sacha presents some interesting ideas for SBSC: should we seek to help small businesses by adding further code-related artifacts, e.g. to the SBS? I'm forwarding this from Sacha due to problems he has had (temporarily I hope) with posting. ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Stephen Green <stephengreenubl@gmail.com> Date: 02-Mar-2006 13:39 Subject: Re: Codelist support for UBL SBS and UBL SBS XPath questions (Sacha) To: sschlegel@cyclonecommerce.com Hi Sacha Apologies that I'll have to answer part today and part tomorrow (pressed for time). > Code List questions: > > o Will there be a codelist package for UBL-2 SBS or will the same > codelists be used for UBL-2 SBS? > o In case there will be a specific one for UBL SBS, do you intend to > strip the codelists for SBS (eg remove codes that will not likely be > used by a Small Business)? Or would this go against a concept of code > lists? Thanks very much for this. I think these should definitely be in our plan. I hadn't thought of subsets to the codelists but I think an SBS codelist definition file is a great idea to consider.
