Subject: Re: [ubl] Review of Two Diffs (Michael/Sue's and Stephen's)
Hi Mark, As you know, in efforts like this all work is dependent on available resources. I would argue that in all our work we have achieved the best possible results with the resources we've had available. It's encouraging now to see some new energy emerging to tackle this area. To offer guidance, can you provide your thoughts on: - who should be doing the QA - how should they be doing it and how to assess: - are they capable, objective, and sufficiently resourced - a good job Thanks, Anne MCRAWFORD@lmi.org wrote: > Anne, > One of the issues is who should be doing the QA, how should they be > doing it, and are they capable, objective, and sufficiently resourced. > My assessment is that heretofore we have not done a good job in any > aspect of this? > Mark Crawford > Research Fellow - LMI XML Lead > W3C Advisory Committee, OASIS, RosettaNet Representative > Vice Chair - OASIS UBL TC & Chair Naming and Design Rules Subcommittee > Chair - UN/CEFACT XML Syntax Working Group > Editor - UN/CEFACT Core Components > ______ > Logistics Management Institute > 2000 Corporate Ridge, McLean, VA 22102-7805 > (703) 917-7177 Fax (703) 917-7481 > Wireless (703) 655-4810 > email@example.com > http://www.lmi.org > "Opportunity is what you make of it" > > To unsubscribe from this mailing list (and be removed from the roster > of the OASIS TC), go to > http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/ubl/members/leave_workgroup.php.
