Subject: AW: [ubl] Michaels homework as of AW: [ubl] Minutes: UBL TC Atlantic Call June 2 2004 ad 6. Corrections to UBL 1.0 CD action items

Hi,

This is funny because the UBL Package term next to it is Address.
Additional_ Street Name. Name! Thus there is a bug in any case.

Mavis and UBL TC

Thanks to Michael for his work on this comparison.
I've taken it a stage further but, following Michael's
method of 'diff' with the spreadsheet, I actually was
able to perform the diff so, Mavis, I think I've done
your part too. I've reduced everything to three
worksheets in a single spreadsheet, one for EF, one
for the committee draft spreadsheets (documents
and reusable combined) and a third with a diff
formula. I only included columns which were typically
consistent between EF and package spreadsheets and
I aligned the order of BIEs.

There are just a few differences, apart from those due
to different approaches in EF and the package.

      In Reusable

      Address. Street Name. Text
     Representation Term:
"Name" in EF vs "Text" in package spreadsheet

      Allowance Charge. Reason. Code
     Data Type Qualifier:
"Allowance Charge Reason" in EF vs "" in package spreadsheet

      Exchange Rate. Operator. Code
     Data Type Qualifier:
"" in EF vs "Operator" in package spreadsheet

      Payment Means. Payment Means. Code
     Property Term Qualifier:
"Payment" in EF vs "" in package spreadsheet

      In Order Change

Order Change. Line_ Extension Total. UBL_ Amount
     Data Type Qualifier:
"UBL" in EF vs "" in package spreadsheet

This appears to have been very useful in highlighting the possible 'bugs'

All the best

Steve
